Two collection tubes were needed to collect blood for Well Man Check. It took a while, but it was possible because you are provided with enough lancets. Two were used.
It is great that the home kit has slots for you to place your collection tubes in. This makes blood collection much easier.
It’s a good idea to warm up before you shower or do gentle exercises to increase blood flow. You could also wash your hands with warm water. Also, you should be well hydrated. Before you take your blood test, drink at least one glass of water and a cup of tea without sugar.
This test should be performed as fast as possible as blood can clot quickly. Once the collection tube has filled to the right line, close it quickly (make sure it clicks), and then invert it 10 times. This is an important step. Invert It and Not Shake it. They may not be allowed to analyze your sample if you do not do this.
Once you have collected the sample, write the date and hour on the labels. Then attach labels to each tube. Make sure the details are clearly visible. Place the tubes in their protective packaging.
Last, fill out the lab request form and all filled tubes in a return envelope. Then send it back the next day.

We did Well Man Check and followed all instructions. However, a problem occurred with a sample. They couldn’t complete the analysis.
My fiance probably squeezed blood too hard from his finger, and that may have caused some blood cell damage. In the instructions to lightly massage the finger until it reaches the tip in order to produce blood drops.
